Note(s)Award : Best Culture Award - Commended in the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2016.The Diving Bell was designed by the port engineer Bindon Blood Stoney and was used in the building of the quay walls until 1958. A restoration project in 2015 transformed the 13m, 90 tonne structure into an interpretative centre.
