Note(s)Butlins first holiday camp outside the UK opened in Mosney, Co. Meath in 1948. It was built by the Collen Bros construction company. It operated under the Butlins brand until the 1980s when it was rebranded as Mosney before finally being turned into accommodation for asylum seekers in 1999.
