Winner, Universal Design - RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2017.Following the therapeutic recreation model, this new dining pavilion ‘floats’ over the lake amongst a stand of existing oak trees. Using the ‘treehouse’ as a concept, the building evolved into an enchanted portal, weaving through and around the woodland.
