Note(s)Building work in this B+ listed church building provided an opportunity for an excavation of the area in and around the proposed new vestry room. The church is built on what is thought to be a 6th century ecclesiastical site, and part of the archaeological investigation was to look for evidence that the current building is a renovation of a much earlier church structure. A detailed building survey is included in the text.
