A number of archives comprising c 290,000 glass plate negatives, photographic prints and traces of aerial surveys. For the most part the work of professional photographers, the collections include street scenes, views of towns and villages, buildings and people. Also included are aerial surveys made by the RAF and aerial photos of archaeological sites and buildings.

ACCESS CONDITIONS

Open for public consultation in our Reading Room to registered PRONI users (registration is free but a photographic ID is required for registration purposes). Archives are stored in secure accommodation, closed to public. Open Mon-Wed, and Fri 9.00am-4.45pm, and Thurs 10:00am-8.45pm.
