| Note(s) | This article considers use of capacity studies to ascertain whether areas designated for significant development in development plans can successfully accommodate additional population and housing units during the lifetime of the development plan. The capacity study revealed that the north west inner city of Dublin's primary challenge in achieving a 50% growth in population between 2011 and 2013 is finding a significant number of potential sites for residential development. |
