Note(s)The authors describe a community partnership approach to preserving archaeology and maximising the social and economic value of heritage green space. The Black Friary is the site a 13th century Dominican friary located just outside the northern limits of the town of Trim. The main aim of the project is to protect the archaeological and architectural heritage of the site, this includes involving the community through active community outreach endeavours.
